In 1935, Moscow was to radically change its appearance. The plans were large-scale with almost unlimited resources, which the war managed to prevent. Moscow has preserved a part of the street, which managed to be reconstructed according to the famous grandiose master plan "Reconstruction of Moscow 1935".
On the one hand, it is an engineering miracle, how it is possible to move a house without disturbing its occupants, and on the other hand it is a cultural phenomenon directly related to the era of revolution and NEP of the 20s.
The adventure will start with a breakfast on Tverskoy Blvd with two hot dishes, dessert and a glass of sparkling wine in the "Biblioteka" room of the "Cafe Pushkin" restaurant.
On a walk with a guide-historian we will find out whether it was possible to move the whole hospital, and even during the operation? Why Pushkin Square is always used for organizing meetings and how many times the monuments of A.S. Pushkin and Yuri Dolgorukov were moved?
We will walk along the section of Tverskaya Street that was renovated more than 80 years ago, and the end point of our route will be Kamergersky Lane.
